Who makes a stand out? Sounds like good question at first, but according to Alizila blog, the China e-commerce leader Alibaba blog has noted that the company’s Tmall and Taobao websites has passed RMB 1 trillion (about $157 billion) in combined 2012 sales volume. Even this is not it; the company is projecting sales to reach RMB 3 trillion (about $473 billion) in next five to seven years. “It’s very likely that next year, our transaction volume will be bigger than all the American e-commerce companies combined,” Alibaba CEO Jack Ma reportedly said. “With RMB 1 trillion in sales, means the company will surpass both Amazon and eBay this year.”
