According to a report in the Wall Street Journal, Acer readying $99 Android tablets for emerging markets, plus cheaper Windows 8 tablet. The company is planning to launch the Iconia B1 Android tablet for just $99 in emerging markets. The publication citing anonymous sources the company taking a move from higher-profit devices as competitors doing it.
Another source the publication sated that the company is developing a new Intel-based Windows 8 tablet which includes the Iconia W510, selling for $549 and up, and the Iconia W700, which starts at $800. Definitely the year going to be at par big, now all have to see how the Acer turned up the thing into a better position of introducing its cheaper price Android tablet in the market.
