4G TD-LTE Networks Will Take Another 2-3 Years To Roll Out In China

The commercial use of 4G LTE, which was primarily pushed by China Mobile and Clearwire will not come into affect for another two or three years in China, according to an interview with the head of country’s Ministry of Industry and IT with the local media. The news comes on “surprising” note as only few days ago that China Mobile will upgrade its some 20,000 base stations in order to support LTE variant, TD-LTE this year. It is still not cleared that how the change in affect from Chinese government to Clearwire’s planned TD-LTE rollout in the US.
